Here's the lesson twenty years of teaching has taught me.

Artists don't stall out because they lack skill. They stall out because they're doing it alone. No one to show the weird piece to. No one to say "actually, that's working" or "here's why it isn't yet." No deadline except the one you keep moving.

Talent left alone in a room gets quiet. Talent in conversation gets bold.

So here's the pivot.

Creative Connections is the room. Twice a month, a small group of artists gets on Zoom, cameras on, and does the thing most art education skips entirely: talks honestly about the work. Real questions, answered live. Bold experiments, actually encouraged. A look at how a working professional artist actually runs her practice — the parts nobody puts in the brochure.

It's not a workshop. Nobody's handing you a rigid technique to copy. It's structured enough to keep you moving and loose enough to go wherever your questions take it. You bring the challenge; the group brings the perspective.

And yes — I ask that cameras stay on and everyone actually participates. This isn't a webinar you half-watch while doing dishes. It's a room built on people showing up for each other. (Miss a session? Everything's recorded, so you're never actually behind.)

Format: Live on Zoom, two Thursdays a month, 10:00–11:30 AM PT, all sessions recorded

Dates: Sept 24 · Oct 1, 15, 29 · Nov 5, 19

Investment: $225 for three months of live sessions (9 hours total), plus the Facebook community and the option to add private mentoring if you want even more one-on-one time.
