River Of Echoes COLLECTION
Halfway between dream and waking lie fragile moments where the real and the imagined merge. Within my dreams, the daily barrage of information mingles with the residue of forgotten conversations. They fade into snippets of words and letters that will eventually flow across my panels.
These abstracted letter forms are a vivid reminder that strong words leave strong impressions that cannot be easily erased. These forms are kinetic, constantly moving forward as if seeking new ground, but they are often enveloped by natural forms and shadows symbolizing the quest for stillness, balance, and calm. The final work gives the impression of distant memories, those you can’t vividly recall, a hazy interpretation of what we see in strong daylight.
