Using encaustic wax is a magical way to enhance one-of-a-kind, hand-painted gifts for any occasion. Get a group together or join new friends in my studio to create these artful gifts.
We will use wax paint in an assortment of vivid colors to paint wood cut out into in a variety of shapes. There’s no limit to the color variations and combinations.
Don't worry if you haven't tried anything like this before, the technique I’ve developed for these is easy to learn, and very forgiving. You can reheat the wax and try again until you get something you love!
All supplies will be included for up to 8 ornaments or magnets. If you have time to make more, additional materials will be available to purchase at cost. If you know you want specific shapes, please contact me for information on where you can buy them prior to the workshop.
