My work celebrates the healing power of nature and is meant to serve as a reminder that just as nature heals us, we must focus on protecting these gifts.
I approach these paintings as portraits of places rather than of people, often using the actual plants from special occasions or memorable spaces as my muse. I’ve worked with leaves, sticks, flowers, water, and stones to commemorate weddings, graduations and other special gatherings.
